Hand made gold plated hagiography icon.

The picture down on the right side shows the sculpture with dark-red/marbled background and gold ornament on top but without the greencoloured base. This is the picture our client provided. The size of the icon is approximately 26x33cm with a frame around (not flat).

The picture on the left side shows the same sculpture with white background. You can see a damage on the right arm of the virgin. This hole is very important! A soldier shot on the sculpture (first half of 17th century) and the legend says that blood flooded out of the hole down the street into a small sea and by overnight, roses gloomed from the blood river. In fact, the soldier cried for mercy and died 3 nights later, but this is another story.
