The apostles having learnt about this gathered around Her bed. Suddenly there came bright light and Jesus Christ appeared and then St.Mary commited her soul into His hands.
The apostles put Her body into a coffin, but they soon had to open it, to let apostles Thomas who was late for the funeral to say good-bye to her. However there was no body in the cave and this was a sign that St.Mary had also ascended to the skies.
